The National Testing Agency (NTA) has just announced the schedule for the Common University Entrance Test CUET (PG) – 2024.
This exam is for students who want to pursue postgraduate studies, like master’s degrees, and it’s going to happen from March 11 to 28. That’s a pretty big deal because it’s happening in 24 different cities across India and even outside the country.
The exam is going to cover a whopping 157 subjects! That’s a lot of options for the 4,62,589 students who signed up for it. And get this, the exam is going to be online, which means everyone will be taking it using computers and the internet.
If you’re one of the students signed up for CUET (PG) – 2024, you’ll need to keep an eye out for your city intimation slip. This slip will tell you where you’re supposed to go to take the exam, and it’ll be available on the websites nta.ac.in and pgcuet.samarth.ac.in about a week before your exam date.
The exam is going to be split into three sessions. The first session will start at 9 in the morning and end around 10:45, the second session will be from 12:45 to 2:30 in the afternoon, and the third session will run from 4:30 to 6:15 in the evening. Each session will last for 105 minutes, which is just under two hours.
It’s interesting to note that there’s been a slight increase in the number of students signing up for the exam compared to last year. Last year, there were about 4.5 lakh registrations, but this time around, it’s gone up to 4.6 lakh.
Out of the total registrations, around 2.5 lakh are from girls, while about 2.1 lakh are from boys. There are also a few registrations from people who identify as a third gender.
So, if you’re gearing up to take the CUET (PG) – 2024 exam, make sure you’re ready for it. Study hard, get plenty of rest, and don’t forget to double-check your exam date and location before the big day. Good luck!
