The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) made some adjustments to the movie before its release. They decided to trim down a scene in the film where there were intimate moments by 25%. This means that around nine seconds of the original scene got cut, making it shorter from 36 seconds to 27 seconds. Additionally, in the latter part of the movie, they swapped out the word ‘daru’ with ‘drink’.
Another requirement from the CBFC was to make the anti-smoking message in Hindi more prominent and easier to read. Once these changes were made, the movie received a U/A certificate on February 2. Its total runtime is 2 hours, 23 minutes, and 15 seconds.
