Nafe Singh Rathee, the head of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) in Haryana, and one of his party workers named Jaikishan were shot and killed in Bahadurgarh on Sunday.
The shooters were in a car called a Hyundai i10. They started shooting at Rathee’s car, and this led to severe injuries for many security guards. The police are now looking into it with teams from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and STF beginning investigations, as per what Jhajjar SP Arpit Jain mentioned.
The injured people were taken to Brahmashakti Sanjeevani Hospital, where unfortunately, two of them couldn’t survive their injuries.
Abhay Chautala, a big name in the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), confirmed the sad news of one of their party workers passing away.
The whole incident happened when some attackers, who were in a Hyundai i10, suddenly started firing at Rathee’s car. This not only harmed Rathee but also caused serious injuries to many security guards.
Two more people are now in the ICU because they were shot. Abhay Chautala, the INLD leader, criticized the state government for not protecting Rathee even though there were threats to his life.
He demanded that the Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar, and the Home Minister, Anil Vij, should resign because of this failure.
Bhupinder Hooda, who used to be the Chief Minister of Haryana, expressed his sadness for Rathee’s family and strongly condemned what happened. He said that this incident shows how bad the state’s law and order situation is.
